Happy New Year and warmest greetings from the Chess Hotel. The theme at the start of this year is very definitely shopping and the Paris Winter Sales, which run until February 17th. Les Soldes offer the opportunity for a bargain filled shopping spree and we have some excellent suggestions as to where to find the best retail action. Just a ten minute walk from the Chess Hotel you will find a delightful shopping trip route, all easily accessible on foot. Here you can start your walk in the up and coming trendy shopping neighbourhood of the Haut Marais. Visit the rue Charlot, rue de Saintonge, rue de Bretagne and the Marché des Enfants Rouges, a wonderful historic covered market.
